Though I Walk Through The Valley of the Shadow of Death...

I love watching the Videos of Sergio & Rhoda. They take you all over Israel in their videos, and they explain the various sites. On this one they are walking with some friends through "The Valley of the Shadow of Death".

When David wrote this Psalm, he wrote of a place where he walks and things he has done. David used to go through the gates of what was Jerusalem 3000 years ago (Now known as the City of David) and he would walk outside the city in the Kidron Valley, which was next to The City of David. Out in that deep valley were the tombstones of those who had died before David. It was like walking through a cemetery. The sun is setting behind the hills of Jerusalem, and the shadows grew deep in the Valley of the Shadow of Death. Many "ghost stories" were told about the evil that happened in that Valley at night. Yet, David says, "I will fear NO Evil, for You are with me."

I thought you would like to watch this. I share with you, what has blessed me.
